Are you planning to go on a Mission Trip to Mexico this summer or have you always wanted to be able to speak Spanish? Beginning Wednesday, February 8 we will be offering Conversational Spanish for those interested or in need to speak Spanish more fluidly. KICKO is having their bi-annual Volunteer Information & Training Meeting for anyone interested in getting involved with KICKO’s Sidewalk Sunday School and/or Youth Ministry.

“In Care” Facility residents are among the poorest in our nation, socially isolated (80% of all nursing home residents have not received a visitor in the last week), physically dependent on others for daily care and spiritually at risk, as they are dependent on us, the Church to come love them and show them they are not forgotten. Emerald Youth Foundation is in need of a Bible Curriculum Writer. You would be part of a team of writers involved with the JustLead Network, organizing and writing Bible curriculm that supports afterschool programming, Wednesday evening small groups and Sunday morning Bible lessons. Emerald Youth Foundation has an urgent need for volunteers to tutor high school age urban young people. These students live in East Knoxville neighborhood but attend Farragut High School. Tutors are needed for Algebra II, Geometry, Anatomy, Biology, Spanish, English, US Government and Chemistry during late/early evening hours (or possibly Saturdays). Operation Inasmuch is our annual Fall Outreach Event. It provides an awesome opportunity for you, your family or your small group to extend your reach and share the love of Christ with our city. Together, we will be involved in a number of hands-on projects for Fellowshippers of all ages and skills. Remember Jesus’ words: “Inasmuch as you have done it unto the least of these, you have done it unto me.”
Serve Students / Kids at Risk
SOAR Youth Ministries: Help spruce up SOAR’s facility by laying vinyl flooring and installing baseboards, painting and possible other handyman type projects.
Lonsdale Elementary: Join the Lonsdale Community as they host a Trash Clean Up Day to help beautify Lonsdale. We will also be weed eating along the sidewalks.
Serve Women
Car Care for Single Moms: Join the Middle School Team as they serve the single moms at West Vista Ridge Apartments with a free car inspection and car wash.
FEFC Single Mom: Serve one of our own single moms by replacing columns on her house and possible other small projects.
Serve Lower Income Families / Poor and Homeless
Angelic Ministries: Help sort and organize clothing and household donations.
FISH Hospitality Pantry: Help provide food bags to lower income families in our community.
Serve the Elderly
Hillcrest West: Join Restoration of Heart ministry make and deliver to the residents Birthday Blessing Bags and New Resident Welcome Cups.
Serve our Church
FEFC: Help replenish wood chips in both playground areas.
FEFC Missions: Help clean out the small house garage and build shelves to be used for long term Missions storage.
FEFC Family: Help build a wheelchair ramp at an FEFC family’s house.

SOAR Youth Ministries
After School Youth Program
Hiring Interns at $8 per hour
SOAR Youth Ministries will consider candidates interested in teaching and
ministering:
~our elementary and middle school children
~the teaching of God’s Word
~with inner city youth
~educational needs
An interview and letter of recommendation is required.
Candidates must also be a current sophmore, junior or senior in college or have completed their degree
Candidates must be pursuing a degree in Education (any teaching field)

Must be willing and able to participate in and lead worship
Must be available to work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday totaling 12 hours or more per week
Times are 2:30-7pm
