Volunteer Opportunity #1:
Join Lonsdale’s School Based Mentoring/Tutoring Program in conjunction with Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Spend 20-30 minutes building relationship with a child each week by helping them with their school work.

Monday - Friday
9:30am - 2:30pm

Commitment Level:
30 minutes a week is the minumum.  You will have the same child each week.  If you would like to tutor 2 children, you can plan on 45 minutes to an hour a week.

Volunteer Opportunity #2:
Lonsdale is looking for volunteers who can speak Spanish that would be willing to listen to the Latin children read during the After School Program.  Most of the Latin students have non-English speaking parents at home.

Monday - Friday
2:45pm - 4:00pm

Commitment Level:
Once a week.

Volunteer Opportunity #3:
Volunteers are also needed once a month at Lonsdale’s Family Event to translate for the parents of the Latin children.

Thursday Evening
4:30pm - 7:00pm
